In order to receive rewards, you must process credit cards with us. Once merchants are approved, they will receive free equipment. Merchant accounts default to Free Processing or Cash Discount. If merchants want standard processing, it must be requested. They also have different targeted volumes for each reward.
Free Equipment
Merchants get one countertop or wireless terminal for free. If an additional terminal is needed, there will be an extra charge. If you need a POS System, we do not give them out for free, but have programs to help offset cost.
Free Processing (Customer Pays)
Free Processing is just that, you do not pay for the transactions you process. It is also known as Cash Discount or Dual Processing. Basically, the way we can do this is by passing the costs on to the customer. Merchants pay a bunch of money to the card brands, so a majority of businesses are making the pivot. Also, this rewards program is geared towards this method of processing because you hit your target volume quicker.
Standard or Traditional Processing (You Pay)
Standard or Traditional Processing means the merchant pays. Like always, merchants have had to pay the high fees charged by the credit card industry. Nothing will change, you will still be paying the fees. However, ours is a set rate and transaction fee. You will still get rewards, but your will have higher target volumes.
What are Target Volumes?
This program is based on total processing volume and there are two tiers. One is the Cash Discount tier, and it does not require as much volume to reach reward goals. The second is traditional processing, and it requires merchants to process more to reach their goals. Once you have been approved for a merchant account we will send you a list with all target goals for each item.
Contracts or Termination Fee (Full Transparency)
We do not have contracts, however if we give you a free terminal, you must send it back in good working condition within 2 weeks. If the terminal is unusable or deadline is not met, there will be a charge to your account. If it is a countertop terminal the charge is $199 and for a wireless terminal it is $299.
